Ensure the Quality of People in Your Network & Ensure the Quality of Your Success
Where traditional networking often falls down is that members are usually only interested in getting whatever they can get! They miss the vital element of genuinely supporting one another, personally and professionally, to build strong and lasting connections. They fizzle out because not enough trust and understanding is actively built between members, which means many opportunities are not realised as a result. Through the Legends Golf Network we make sure the right people are involved – people who appreciate the importance of synergy, win-win collaboration, building trust and putting people and relationships first.
What enables an enduring high-level effectiveness of the Legends Golf Network is the key fact that everyone involved in the network is designing and building it to achieve their own goals, as well as everyone else’s goals together. This ensures a high-level of involvement and so a high-level of commitment is achieved, which ensures the ongoing growth and effectiveness of the network.
We have designed the Legends Golf Network so it works for everyone; non-players and experts alike have the opportunity to develop their network through playing (or learning to play) and through the accompanying strategic networking events/programs inherent.
Empowering Young People Through the Junior Legends Golf Network
Helping young people also means a lot to us at Lighthouse International and that’s in fact why our sister non-profit Community Interest Company, Lighthouse Kidz was created. It’s therefore no different when it comes to the Legends Golf Network, especially as it’s such a fantastic medium to help develop young people’s character, focus, discipline and concentration. For every adult that joins as a member, we gift a membership to a young person in need of the right support and guidance too. In particular, golf is well known to help young people suffering from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) because of the calming influence of nature and the requirement to increase your focus.
How Can You Get Involved?
In bringing this network together, the network’s reputation and effectiveness is assessed on and absolutely determined by the success of everyone in the network. That includes you! If we invited just anyone into the Legends Golf Network (LGN), the quality of people would be very hit and miss, like it is with most traditional networks. Therefore we work hard to make sure the LGN consists of a positive and committed group of people. There is a process we go through with everyone who wants to join to ensure this. If you’re interested in getting involved, this process is to…
1. Express your interest – Fill in the form below.
2. Speak to one of us – A member of the team will have a brief phone call to understand what you want to achieve.
3. Receive info and questions in line with your interest – we give you the opportunity to learn all about the network and how it could help you, through a 35 minute online Interactive Learning Experience (completed by yourself).
4. Register and get involved – Once we are both happy, your introducer will register you and help you get started.
After going through the learning experience, you will know very clearly what the network is about; whether it’s right for you and whether you are right for it.
“Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.”

Why is Having a Network of the Right People so Crucial?
By Ourselves We Are Limited
Our power as human beings to achieve our goals alone, by ourselves, will always be limited. No matter who you are, there will always be people, knowledge, resources or skills that you don’t have, don’t know, or can’t do in order to achieve your goals. The speed and quality at which we make things happen in our lives, careers or businesses is directly related to the extent and quality of our network, our connections with the right people. It’s by working well, with and through others that we can dramatically expand our world and what we are capable of bringing together to achieve.
Who You Know & What You Know Makes the Difference!
The high achievers and legends of our time know this well – having trusted relationships with the right people in the right places is critical to that success. With the right relationships your reach increases, doors open and you gain access to so much more; pooling resources, knowledge, connections and skills together and out-stripping what we could ever have done alone.
Why is Golf the Ideal Platform for Making the Right Connections
The game of golf and the social aspect associated with it make the sport an ideal platform for building your professional/business circle of influence. You have valuable time to spend with someone and a wonderful setting in which to get to know each other.
It’s why so many are now taking it up. Research conducted by Guideline Research & Consulting revealed that 92% of top executives were using golf as a means to build business connections, while 43% of their biggest deals were made or started with clients on the golf course.
It’s not surprising that people from all walks of life are finding opportunities opening up for them simply by playing with people they want to get to know. It’s a game almost anyone can take up too; young and old, men and women and people who haven’t swung a club before in their life are all bringing themselves to the sport.
