We at LIG will do everything in our direct and indirect control to help people follow through with their investment in themselves. If we, for any reason, believe that you are not in the right place to follow through on any LIG product or service, then we will not allow you to make that investment with us. People are often amazed by the level of commitment we have to this, but wouldn’t you expect the same from your doctor or advisor etc? So it is no different with us either. 5. Why Would it Be Valuable to Embark on a Development Program?
A Book or the Internet Alone Just Won’t Do it – The vast majority of people who want to make a change and progress in their lives, careers or businesses have often read a book on the topic or looked it up online. This is valuable, but alone it just won’t help you to habitualise and apply what you learn.
The Right People With the Right Skills & Knowledge – Quite simply, you cannot replace learning from the right people with the right knowledge and skills, who are already experienced in the area where you want to develop.
Immersion Is Essential – Shifting old habits and making a significant change in our lives requires significantly different actions, along with intensity. It requires immersion. Immersing yourself in the learning environment of a development program, along with the support of mentoring and a mastermind group will give you that immersion.
6. What Types of People Come on These Programs?
We work with people from all walks of life, from all backgrounds. From ex-head teachers, to designers, university students, directors, bankers, plumbers, etc etc…
What is common however, is everyone is absolutely committed to their own growth and development and to helping others succeed too. All of our staff, mentors and facilitators began their journey with us on a program themselves and remained involved because they saw the improvements in their own lives, careers and businesses.
7. When & Where Do the Programs Run?
Our programs run consistently throughout the year. There will be particular start dates to each program, however we will always be able to get you started right away because every program starts with preparation work. This is to ensure you get the most out of the program once you’re on it.
8. How Can You Learn More About Embarking on a Lighthouse International Development Program?
The starting point is to understand your wants, needs, aspirations and challenges. We can’t explicity define what mentoring and what programs are best for you until we understand more about you.
Equally, everyone has gaps in their awareness, knowledge and skills somewhere along the line. Our assessments will help you identify for yourself what those gaps are even if you then choose not to get involved in any development program with us.
